The role is being offered by a company which has 90,000 cows and rear 70,000 young stock across 7 farms.

FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for assistant dairy farm managers for a large dairy farm operation in the Middle East.

The role offers a "very lucrative" tax-free package, including a basic salary and bonuses.

The role is based in one of the Middle East’s largest vertically integrated dairy companies, which presently has 90,000 cows and rear 70,000 young stock in 7 modern dairy farms.

The successful candidates for these roles will undergo a programme of on the job training in all aspects, reflecting the best European standards.

Role description

The successful candidates will be expected to maximise production by planning and organizing all functional activities of the farm and use all resources at their disposal to the highest level of efficiency.

The assistant dairy farm manager will report to the farm manager and be responsible for the following:

  • Calving;

  • Feeding;

  • Herd health;

  • Breeding;

  • Milking Quality.

Candidate profile

Candidates for this role are required to have a third level degree (minimum of Level 6), 1-2 years of experience with cows, work experience in Australia or New Zealand as well as being career-minded and highly motivated.

Package

The remuneration package includes a starting salary of €50,000 (tax-free), 5 free flights to and from the UK and Ireland, free accommodation and general living expenses as well as access to gyms and modern leisure facilities.
