A lamb may have to be euthanized after it was attacked by young students in North Wales.
The animal has suffered an injury to its back and lost its sight.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police Rural Crime Team said: "A few days ago, this lamb was attacked by youths in the Caernarfon area of Waterloo Port."
"There were two boys who were throwing the lamb to one another and were trying to throw it into a stream."
The spokesperson pointed out that there were also seven girls, aged approximately 12 or 13, who were "laughing" at the proceedings.
The spokesperson said that the attack on the defenceless lamb is "totally unacceptable".
In an update on social media on Wednesday, February 19th, a spokesperson for NWP Rural Crime confirmed that the lamb may have to be euthanized due to a broken back.
"We still need the public's help to catch the offenders."
