Komatsu have revealed in recent days the launch of their latest WA100M loader in Ireland, the WA100M Dash 8 compact wheel loader.
The loader is aimed for sale to contractors, farm users, feed merchant users and bulk grain users. Described as being “farm-fit” in terms of the dimensions of the machine, the latest loader also boasts accessible mechanics, All-round durability and maneuverability.
The loader has been described as “one of the most reliable and versatile machines out there” by John O’Brien, McHale Plant Sales director and Birdhill distributor.
The loader is powered by a 94hp EU Stage IV Engine and has an operating weight of up to 7,200kgs!
The WA100M also can reach ground speeds of up to 40km/hr. The machine was redesigned to feature an easier filled bucked, which has a capacity of 1.3m3. It also comes with a longer bottom, modified back and side walls, as well as a newly-designed guard. Operators are granted better access to the engine to maintenance and servicing, all thanks to a tilting cab!
The WA100M also has a low centre of gravity, which improves the overall stability of the vehicle. It also features more compact dimensions and a new engine hood which gives operators “exceptional all-round visibility”.
