About farm: We milk 150 pedigree cows on a grass based system and rear all our own replacements. We as a family won farmer of the year & share the experience as a family. We have a big Dairymaster parlour. We want to milk 200 cows.
My Jobs: I feed calves, scrape yards, teat spray cows. I say “Gwoan Gwoan” to cows so that they leave parlour. I help dad put up strip fences and I mind and show the jersey calves. Mine is called Rathard Jasmine. I’m too short to put on clusters yet but someday!
My favourite thing about farming: I love all the animals because they are my friends and I meet loads of amazing people. I even met the Minister for Ag and Mairead McGuiness
Have you always wanted to farm? I WAS BORN TO FARM!!!!!
I want to do loads more calf showing and cow showing eventually. I also want to milk and manage cows, get a really good Ag qualification and make loads more Ag friends.
Social Media: Lots of people know me on Twitter. My videos are on Youtube and Facebook. I get loads of cool selfies with people and I love AgriKids and farm safety. Alma is one of my best friends. I’d love a part-time job helping her!
