In the wake of the Brazil meat scandal we thought we might take a moment to remember why Irish beef is the best.

  1. Its hormone free

Yep that’s a pretty massive one all Irish beef is free of growth hormones and any other nasty GM products.

  1. Grass fed

Our cattle are fed on the thing they are meat to eat: Grass! We have some of the best pasture land in the world and the cattle live a good life outside for as long as is possible each year

  1. Its small scale

We are about quality not quantity, our cattle are treated safely and respectably by farmers that care about the animals. We don’t do industrial farming and that’s a great thing.

  1. Every time you buy Irish beef your supporting Irish families

Family farming keeps rural Ireland alive, every time you buy Irish beef your supporting people just like you! Normal, decent farming folk.

  1. It tastes brilliant

Well lets face it, grass fed, family farmed you are just gonna make a great product and everyone knows Irish beef is beautiful

  1. We’ve been at it for centuries

We’re some of the oldest farmers in the world, we know how cows work, we get their personality, we know their needs and we farm as such

  1. Our factories and processors meet the highest standards

We don’t do rotten meat, unclean factories or bribery. Start to finish from farmer to processor it’s a clean and sound process. We never export rotten meat.

If you agree with this list share it and let people know why Irish beef kicks ass!
