33 in-lamb ewes were rescued from land, surrounded by floodwater, in Wales in recent days.
The sheep became stranded during Storm Dennis. In a statement, a spokesperson for RSCPA Cymru said: “An RSPCA inspector attended this morning and met with the farmer and the water level has dropped.”
“We have since been informed that the farmer was able to use a 4x4 tractor with a trailer to move the sheep to higher ground successfully.”
“We're very pleased to hear these sheep - who were all heavily in lamb - are now safe.” the spokesperson concluded.
