Gardaí seized a tractor over the course of the weekend.
Members of Wexford Divisional Roads Policing Unit discovered that the agricultural vehicle had not been taxed in 21-months.
It also seized a number of other vehicles, for other road traffic-related offences.
Vehicle seized and driver arrested
In a post on social media on Sunday (August 29th), a spokesperson for Wexford Garda Division, said: “Gardaí from the Wexford Divisional Roads Policing Unit seized two cars in Bunclody yesterday.”
“A VW Golf for no insurance and a Citroen as the driver was disqualified from driving and also had no insurance. The driver was also arrested.”
“In Ferns, a tractor was seized as the tax was expired for 21 months. Meanwhile, in New Ross, Gardaí seized a Toyota recently as the road tax was expired on the 31.8.2018.”
