The discovery was made on Friday last week, and has led to a man in his 50's being arrested yesterday in connection with the incident.
The drugs were stumbled upon by Garda officials during a search of a haulage vehicle containing farm machinery.
Upon searching between the machinery Garda officials discovered Cannabis which would be worth over €700,000 on the street.
The find led to more searches being carried out in Moneygall, Tipperary, and then the man was eventually arrested.
The search was undertaken as part of an ongoing investigation carried out by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau in co-operation with the Revenue Commissioners Customs Service and also the Serious Crime Task Force.
The Revenue Commissioners Customs service were using a new mobile x-ray scanner which led to the detection of the drugs and the arrest of the man.
