All roads lead to the highly anticipated FTMTA Machinery Show 2017, a stand-out biennial event in the diary of machinery enthusiast this Thursday 9th February, right through until to Saturday 11th.
Held at Punchestown Event Centre, Naas, Co. Kildare, the representative body state the hosted events are ‘organised by the trade for the farmer and contractor’.
Attracting 18,750 visitors back in 2015, Ireland’s largest indoor Agricultural event is back, with the proceedings following the format of recent years.
A record number of 165 individual exhibitors will exhibit across over 200 distinct exhibits including shell stand, open stands and outdoor display areas.
Boasting four exhibition pavilions totalling nearly 14,000 square metres of indoor, heated, exhibition space as well as a substantial area of outdoor displays, attendees will not be disappointed.
The Show opens to the public at 10am daily and draws to a close at 6pm on Thursday and Friday, closing an hour earlier on Saturday.

Those travelling by car should opt for the route from Naas into the Centre.

From Dublin Airport - 48kms (30 miles) M1, M50, N7, R410
From Dublin City - 35km (22miles) N7, R410
From Cork - 2hrs, 40 mins, N8, N7 R410
From Galway - 2hrs, 50mins M6, M4, M50, N7, R410
From Belfast - 2hrs, 20mins, M1, M50, N7, R410
With the event centre located just off the M7, several regional roads can be then undertaken in order to successfully complete your journey.
Getting there by using Public transport
Alternatively, those that are availing of Irish rail services should check their website for further details.
A service from Dublin's Heuston Station to Sallins, just outside Naas is in operation.
