The company, Foyle Food group has posted their pre-tax profit results for 2016 in its latest annual accounts, posting profits of over £4million.
The Fourth generation family company, based in Northern Ireland, increased their turnover by over 3% up to €347 million since December 2016. The company, controlled by the Acheson family, supply beef to retailers and manufacturers around the world.
2016 saw the company increase their net assets to almost €20 million (£17.4 million), while they now employ over 1,000 people. The company base is located in Co. Derry and remain one of Northern Ireland’s main meat processors.
The group’s director welcomed the news of increased turnovers, also reaffirming the company’s commitment to a capital investment programme to ensure the continued supply of high quality products.
