Preparation for the Annual Ford Tractor and Dyno gathering is well underway, with the event set to take place on Sunday, December 30th.
The event, which has been organised by the South East Ireland Ford Tractor Club, is the third annual instalment and is being held at The Hub, Cillín Hill, in Kilkenny. As is always the case, all proceeds and any donations on the day will go towards Embrace Farm.
Embrace Farm is a farming organisation which was founded by Brian and Norma Rohan, a farming family from Shanahoe, County Laois in 2014. Brian and his wife Norma with extended family lost his father Liam Rohan to a sudden farm accident in 2013
Having obtained full charitable status in 2017, Embrace is now a support network for farm families who, like the Rohan’s, have lost a loved one or suffered serious injury in a farming accident.

The Event -
The third annual event organised by the South East Ireland Ford Tractor Club, this one is for all those who stay true to the blue.
All Fordson, Ford, New Holland and Ford derived tractors are all welcome to attend on the day. This year’s event also marks the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the Ford 7810 to Ireland in 1988. Organisers are aiming to gather as many 7810's on the site on the day to mark the occasion.
“The 7810 was a bestseller both here and in the UK and many are still hard at work today.” Posted organisers.
“We are aiming to gather as many 7810’s as possible on site on the 30th to celebrate its popularity and longevity.” They added.
The event is also a Dyno day, and there will be Dyno testing available on the day, sponsored by Murphy’s Motors Glenmore.
The event kicks off at 11:30am on the day and will take place at The Hub, Cillín Hill, Kilkenny City.
