Over five hundred ducklings were killed in a shed fire on a farm, as reported by BBC news.
The incident occurred on Thursday night at around 9:40 pm at Blackborough, Uffculme, Devon. Firefighters were called to the scene to fight the blaze at the large shed on the farm. Four fire crews in total were on hand to fight the fire,
The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service said that the shed was 100% damaged during the fire, while it was also confirmed that the ducklings were killed. Three propane gas cylinders inside the shed, were checked using thermal imaging cameras, but were found to be safe.
It is not yet known what caused the incident, though an investigation is now underway.
