A man has died following a farm accident in Co. Galway.
The incident occurred in Kilconly, Tuam at approximately 6:30pm yesterday evening (Sunday, June 7th).
It is understood that the male, aged in his 70s, was inflating a tyre when the accident, involving a tractor, occurred.
He was taken to University Hospital Galway, where he was pronounced dead.
An Garda Síochána and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating the incident.
