Michael Ferris, as reported by radiokerry.ie, appeared at the central criminal court charged with murdering his neigbour with a teleporter.
Mr. Ferris appeared in Tralee District court last week for the murder of local Tillage farmer Anthony O' Mahony aged 74 in April of this year. Mr O' Mahony died from his injuries following the collision of his vehicle and Mr. Ferris's teleporter. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The hearing, lasted only about 5 minutes, and Mr. Ferris has been granted bail that has yet to be taken up. It is not yet known when Mr. Ferris will reappear before the courts.
