A social media post by a young farmer in the UK has gone viral, after thugs broke onto his farm and slashed the throats of his sheep.

A farmer has been left devastated after a group of thugs broke onto his farm, slaughtering his ewes, as reported by Fginsight.com.

The 18-year-old farmer, Harry Plant, discovered the gruesome scene at his Avon Valley Farm, in Leicestershire early on Saturday morning. The farmer posted some of the horrific pictures of the crime scene on his social media account, which then went viral and was shared in excess of 4,000 times.

"So this is what I was greeted by when I went to feed some of my sheep this morning.”, the post read.

The farmer told his followers that the murdered ew2es were, in fact, pregnant, with one carrying triplets.

"Two pregnant ewes both carrying triplets have had their throats cut by some sick person.", it continued.

"I am 18-years-old and trying to build a business and a livelihood and to be greeted by this in the morning sends shivers down my spine to think that a human being could do this to an animal for no reason whatsoever.", the farmer added.

The farm then issued a warning to the thugs who carried out the horrible deed.

"To the person who has done this, I hope for your sake you don’t return.’, he posted.

Police in the area is urging anyone with information to contact them on 101. Warning the pictures below are graphic.
