A farmer, aged 53, has lost his life after his tractor overturned between 8-9pm yesterday evening.
The incident, as reported by the Evening Telegraph, occurred on a country road near Anstruther and between Ovenstone and Carnbee. The farmer suffered the life ending injuries after his CASE tractor turned over on the road.
Emergency services were called to the scene, though it was too late as the man was pronounced dead upon their arrival. This latest death comes with the recent much publicised increased farm deaths this year so far, levels are now higher than that of 2016.
It has been reported that no other vehicles have been involved in the incident, as local police investigate the incident. They have appealed for anyone with any information to come forward.
