Clive Clarke, a farmer and butcher on the Tipperary/Offaly border, has seen several hundred euros worth of goods stolen from his farm in recent days.
Thieves burgled the Ashgate farm at Dunkerrin at sometime between Sunday night and early Monday morning, January 14th, taking with them goods worth several hundred euros in the process. The incident is now under investigation by Gardaí in Roscrea, who are appealing to the public for assistance. They are urging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Dunkerrin area at some stage between Sunday at 11pm and 7am Monday morning, to contact them on (0505) 24230.
This marks the seventh time the farmer and butcher, Clive Clarke, has seen his premises broken onto and burgled. In recent times he has seen meat products, butcher knives, fencing supplies and farm machinery stolen.
