The problem of food mislabelling is not however unique to Ireland it seems as British supermarket chain Waitrose have now been caught in the act with the chain offering lamb for sale under a British name. However the ‘British’ lamb is actually from New Zealand.
Twitter has erupted and the chain have responded saying British was meant to be understood as the origin of the recipe not the meat.We will be continuing our fake food investigation this week with another well known personality
