Charleville Show, Rath Luirc, Co. Cork takes place this Saturday, June, 23rd and Sunday, June, 24th. The two-day event will feature livestock exhibitions; horticultural displays; dogs; arts and crafts; cookery demonstrations and an array of activities for children. Athlone Agri Show will also occur this Sunday, June, 24th at a new venue which is located in close proximity to the original showgrounds. The 2018 show will see the return of some cattle classes; horse showing classes with prize-money in excess of €1,000 in some categories, along with entertainment; a vintage section and a food and craft village including the eight Athlone Agri Show’s ‘Made in the Midlands Food & Craft Village’. Wine; Women and Wellies:
All women in agriculture are invited to The Arches Hotel, Claregalway, Co. Galway for a special event to celebrate the continued success of West Women in Farming Ireland.
There will be an opportunity to attend mediation prior to the main event, which will commence at 7pm. Admission can be gained to the full event for €20, while entry to the social event excluding meditation is priced at €10. You can find more information here.
A charity event organised by Pulling at Your Heart Strings and Irish Tug Of War Association in aid of Embrace Farm Support Network; Aoibheann's Pink Tie; Heart Children Ireland and Touching Hearts will take place in Piltown, Kilkenny this Sunday.
