West Women in Farming Ireland will stage an Annual General Meeting on Monday, April, 2nd, following the official establishment of the organisation on April, 1st, 2017.
Earmarked to occur at The Arches Hotel, Claregalway, Co. Galway, from 3pm-6pm, all interested parties are openly invited to attend. Co-founded by two Mayo natives, the voluntary group has since extended into all corners of Connaught, as an umbrella of the national Women in Farming network.
A committee of ten Women in Agriculture from the province brought the group to great heights throughout the twelve-month period, hosting numerous major public events, while six members also took a trip across the waters to the European Union, courtesy of Mairead McGuinness, MEP & Vice-President of the European Parliament. This AGM will celebrate those achievements and will map out plans going forward, with an opportunity for enthusiastic parties to join our cohort, shall they express a genuine interest to support our efforts.
