An “eagle-eyed” farmer played a key role in the recovery of a stolen tractor in the UK.
The theft occurred on the night of July 1st in the Alderholt area.
FordingbridgeCops said this is “a great example of the work that goes on in our rural communities with our business and landowners and the workers who rely on this type of equipment to keep the country moving”.
The owner of the tractor was reunited with his property, which was stolen, following the efforts of another farmer and some great cross border work between Hampshire's PSCO May and Dorset's PC Haggett from the rural crime team.
“If you have any information that may help in identifying those responsible, please call 101 and quite Dorset reference 55200095439.” FordingbridgeCops’ social media post added.
