Speaking to That’s Farming following the sale, the creators of the platform, said: “With over 40 bidders, the 38 lots made good money with only a small proportion not making the reserve.”
“In what was a first for Drumshanbo Mart, the staff delivered in these challenging times of social distancing, an outlet for farmers to move stock on, whilst complying with all the regulations and most importantly, keeping everyone safe.”
Next week
Drumshanbo Mart continue their online auctions today (April 18th) with a sale of organic livestock; bidding will get underway at 12pm.
There will be additional sales of heifers, weanlings, dry cows and suckler entries next week.
