A tractor driver, who was illegally driving on a motorway, has been stopped by Gardaí in Co. Clare.
The driver of a tractor has been stopped by Gardaí earlier this morning, January 21st, after being caught illegally driving on a motorway. As is the law, to travel on a motorway a vehicle must be able to maintain speeds of 50km/hr. The tractor in question, which was stopped by Clare Roads Policing Unit, was only capable of speeds up to 35km/hr.
According to @GardaTraffic on Twitter, the driver was using the motorway as a shortcut between farms.
