The Donegal & Tyrone Farmers Hunt held their annual Hunt Ball on Saturday, February 9th, the second year of the event.
This year’s event was held at the Mt. Errigal Hotel and guests were treated to a Prosecco reception on arrival, followed by a meal. Next came the entertainment, with a charity auction on the night followed by comedic entertainment from Kilmacrannan renowned sheep breeder, Declan Robinson.
There were also some prizes given out on the night and the Shane Brolly Perpetual Cup was also presented to Phillip Magee by the Brolly family for his riding efforts throughout the year. Musical entertainment on the night was provided by David Craig and his band, as the crowd danced into the night.
The event was all held in aid of a local young girl, Kylie Ann Stewart, who suffers from Spina Bifida. All monies raised over the course of the night went towards her treatment fund and at the end of the event, a cheque totalling €1,500 was presented to Kylie Ann and her family.
