It has been "designed around the customer's and animal's needs"

DeLaval’s E300 rotary – which has been launched in Ireland and the UK – is focused around the four customer challenges; animal welfare, milk quality, farm profitability and work efficiency.

It has the following features;

  • DeLaval FastBail™ - The unique 15Ëš angled bail is designed for faster, more efficient movement of cows and faster, more efficient routines for milkers;

  • DeLaval FastExit™ - The unique exit design in combination with DeLaval FastBail™ creates a safe, fast exit for maximum productivity;

  • DeLaval Cockpit™ - Everything you need, all where you stand which makes it possible for one-person operation;

  • DeLaval Topflow™ - Provides a gentle milking cluster giving stable and lower vacuum during milking.

Customer’s and animal’s needs

Gary Edwards, CMS solutions manager, stated: “The DeLaval E300 rotary has been designed around the customer’s and the animal’s needs.”

“Combined with DelPro™ herd management software, it really offers the farmer complete control of his herd making it easier for him to make management decisions.”

“The heritage of the E300 is derived from DeLaval’s heavy-duty 24/7 rotary operations; deck types on offer are the inward sloping concrete or the unique outward sloping alloy platform; heavy-duty but lightweight and corrosion-resistant to most chemicals.

“When working in conjunction with the unique DeLaval teat spray robot (TSR™), it is incredibly labour efficient when labour is becoming increasingly challenging for dairy farmers,” Edwards concluded.
