Dawn Foods have announced the creation of 150 new jobs over the next 5 years as part of a €25m investment into a meat science and innovation centre in Kildare.
The company are to invest the €25m on developing its research and development hub in Nass.
Dawn recently signed a large €850m supply deal with Subway the fast food chain.
“This investment will enhance our capacity to research trends, to develop new products and exciting new production technologies while ensuring that the highest standards of food safety and security are upheld,” chief executive Larry Murrin told the Irish Times.
Dawn Farms is a major supplier of cooked and fermented meats for pizza, ready meals and sandwiches.
