Cormac Tagging – based in Tuam, Co. Galway – has been honoured with a coveted All-Ireland Business All-Star Award at Croke Park.
Speaking after scooping the Agri-Business of the Year 2019 title, Ursula Kelly - Cormac Tagging - said: “This is a very a proud day for us; to gain this outside recognition of our company at a national level brings a real sense of pride to our team.”
“We are grateful to the All-Ireland Business Foundation for the recognition of the hard work that Cormac Tagging continues to do in the Agri-Business sector by offering farmers a choice of sheep and cattle tag suppliers.”

When asked by the judges what sets the company apart from competitors, Ursula outlined: “It is an easy reply; it is one hundred percent our team - they are our magic ingredient.”
“They understand farming and the pressure farmers are under."
Gaining market share
This award – which was presented to the firm by Vice-President of the European Parliament, Mairead McGuinness MEP - follows a National Dairy Show Gold Engineering Award in November 2018 and a RDS Talamh Agri Innovation Award.
“Our products, improved management systems, delivery of gold standard customer service and continued integration of technology including our e-commerce website is gaining us market share and increasing our customer’s confidence in our offerings," Ursula concluded.
