The beef sector in China is among the fastest growing in the world, and is now beginning to catch up with pork as the most coveted meat product.
China are now one of the world’s largest importers of beef, with over €2billion worth of product imported in 2016 alone.
One company in China has already received almost 2,000 orders of the product, while JD.com have already started pre-sales.
Although more expensive, the lifting of the ban has been welcomed by all quarters of the Chinese population with many happy to pay extra because of the high-quality product involved.
Sales of US beef in China will commence from the middle of July.
