4 calves were rescued by the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service this week after they became trapped in a slurry pit its been reported by the Tyrone Times.
Rescue crews used harnesses hooks and mechanical devices to get the animals from the slurry pit. It took almost 2 hours to rescue the animals from the pit.
Firefighters and special rescue teams wore breathing apparatus to protect themselves while there.
Please exercise caution with slurry pits for you and your animals.
