Beef Plan is asking all local businesses to support its series of peaceful protests nationwide.
In a statement on Twitter, a spokesperson said: "Volunteers are keeping a 24/7 vigil outside processors; gates."
"Any food and supplies greatly appreciated and we thank those who have contributed." the statement concluded.
'Find a workable solution'
In a statement to That's Farming, Eamon Corley of the Beef Plan Movement said: "We are asking that every farmer, lorry driver and business in the country to support the farmer protest and help us find a workable solution for our beef industry and rural Ireland," he added.
"The most important contribution farmers can make is to keep their factory-fit cattle at home until a workable solution can be found."
"We encourage people and businesses to stand with our farmers at the factory gates to help us in our fight to find a workable solution for beef farming and to save the family farm and rural Ireland."
