CommitteesThe Beef Movement has committees in place in a number of counties including Meath; Wicklow; Wexford; Longford; Westmeath; Laois; Kilkenny; Cork; Kerry; Clare and Tipperary; Galway; Mayo; Roscommon; Donegal; Cavan; and Armagh.
Eamon Corley - chairperson and one of the founders of the group said that these counties are now in a position to maximise the movement's efforts in terms of reaching its target - gaining 40,000 members.
The group is asking farmers to print off beef plan registration forms from the group's website and encourage farmers in those townlands to row in behind the plan.
"It will be about getting the foot soldiers out on the ground and making this happen. Everybody behind the wheel and no passengers." Eamon added.
