The weekend has plenty in store, from an All-Ireland quarter-final replay to Ag shows & food events!

A jam-packed calendar of events is offered this Bank Holiday Weekend.

From Agricultural Shows, to Food festivals and Horse Racing to country music events, there is something in the mix for everyone.

  • Bonniconlon Agricultural Show -Monday 7th August.

Now in its 68th year, Bonniconlon show is boasting 610 showing classes on 200 acres.

  • Tinahely Show -Monday 7th August.

One of the longest running shows in the country, now celebrating its 82nd show is back as big and enjoyable as before.

With a long list of exhibitors, the day’s highlights include musing from Irish country music favourites including Derek Ryan and Louise Morrissey.

  • Galway Summer Festival 2017

The seven-day annual Galway Festival is drawing to a close, but Saturday and Sunday proceedings are yet to unfold. The committee have placed a special emphasis on making the weekend part of the festival, ideal for family get-togethers.

  • Ballymore Country Music Festival, Co. Westmeath -Sunday 6th August

Country Music fanatics at the ready, as some of the leading names on the music scene are set to take to the stage.

Derek Ryan, Mike Denver, Michael English, Brendan Shine, Robert Mizzell, Cliona Hagan, Barry Kirwan, Marthy Mone and one of the newest stars on the block; Jake Carter have been lined-up for this year’s event. Be sure to check out more information!

  • Enniscorthy Rockin Food Festival, Co. Wexford -4th-7th August

The festival offers a collective package of Music, food and cookery demonstration, craft beer and family fun.

Rebel Parade, Battle Re-enactment, free Art Exhibition and Ancient East Story-Telling all will expose the history of the Anicent East-town of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.

An enjoyable family day is promised!

  • GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship Quarter-Final Replay -Monday 7th August

We couldn’t let the weekend pass without mentioning the All-Ireland quarter-final replay between Roscommon and Mayo.

Croke Park is the place to be on Monday, with kick-off at 2pm.
