Animax has announced the recent appointment of a new commercial director.
Nigel Hemphill – who has more than 25 years' experience in the agri-business sector – has moved to fill the position at the animal health firm, which specialises in trace element supplementation.
Prior to uptaking this post, he was sales manager with ForFarmers N.V. which has annual sales of approximately 10-million tonnes of animal feed.
Hemphill has strong Irish connections as his father hails from Portrush area in Co. Antrim.
Speaking of his new appointment, Mr Hemphill, said he is “delighted to be joining Animax, who is the market leader in trace element supplementation under brand Allsure (ROI) & Tracesure (GB) for livestock.”
“The Animax R&D team are developing innovative animal health products and the company is growing its market share, so I am looking forward to meeting current trade customers and developing new business in overseas markets.” he added.
Welcoming the appointment of Hemphill, Philip Codling, the company’s managing director, said: “Nigel is exceptionally well-qualified to take on this senior Management position with our company which specialises in the research, development and manufacture of highly effective animal health products.”
