We brought you the story a week or two ago of the first ever stylish silage competition being held in Drumshanbo county Leitrim as part of the annual An Toastal festival.
This was the 60th every festival held, and the competition was set up to celebrate the occasion.
The winners of the competition were announced over the weekend, with cash prizes given out on the day.
The 3rd prize went to Littlewonders Montesourri for their entry "The Cookie Monster", they received a cash prize of €100.
Second place meanwhile went to Shane McGrenaghan and Daire McManus for their excellent "It'sd a turf life" design. They received the second largest cash prize of €200.
And Finally the first prize and overall winner of the competition was Mary Nugent and the Dream team for their train design.
It was modelled on the old Leitrim Cavan narrow gauge railway, anmd the gang received a prize of €300 for their efforts.
Congratulations to all the enteris in this years maiden year of the competition and congratulations to the winners. There were many other entrants some which were modelled on Donald Trump, a pint of guinness, Drumshanbo gin, The Minions, and Mr. Bump to name a few.
