85-year-old farmer’s ‘best friend’ stolen from his home

An 85-year-old farmer is appealing for information following the theft of his dog.

It is believed that the Springer Spaniel, who answers to the name Brandy, was stolen on Wednesday (July 8th) in Brannoxtown, Trim, Co. Meath.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, said Brandy is “more than just a dog – he is my reason to get up in the morning and the reason I felt safe at night”.

“I now spend my days searching high and low for him, so I am asking you to search your heart and help me find him.”

Appeal

He appeals to the thieves to safely return his 12-year-old “best friend”.
