Bulls will be exported to Turkey by a Waterford-based firm in the coming weeks.
Purcell Brothers is seeking a consignment of approximately 3,000 continental bulls in the 250-330kg weight bracket.
The company, which is focused on the export of dairy and beef stock, uses its own vessel to transport cattle, which has a capacity of up to 3,000 cattle or 10,000 calves, according to its website.
