10-day sale of refurbished machines

KEENAN is holding a 10-day sale of refurbished machines from June 22nd until tomorrow (June 30th) in place of its annual open day.

This year’s mid-season sale will also feature a small range of second-hand trade-in machines that will be sold in their current un-refurbished condition for farmers to purchase.

Machines are being sold on a first-come-first-served basis. The sale has received huge interest as farmers consider buffer feeding, the company said.

Print and digital catalogues with details of all the machines offered for sale, as well as videos of each model, are available on request.

With machines starting from €45/£40 per week, there are diet feeders on offer to suit all farm operations and budgets, the company said; finance packages are also available.

Focus on KEENAN quality

When pre-owned machines are taken back into the factory (either demo models or trade–ins), they undergo a detailed inspection to ensure they meet a stringent base level of quality, the company explained.

Then, similar to a rigorous aircraft overhaul, suitable models are stripped back to basics and each component is re-built as required.

Each machine undergoes a meticulous 60–point check, before been given the KEENAN approved-used badge of approval.

“During refurbishment, we only use genuine KEENAN parts,” said Michael Carbery, KEENAN head of operations, “ensuring that the machine remains 100% KEENAN”.

“We do this to safeguard maximum reliability and delivery of the proven nutritional benefits that are associated with our brand.”

KEENAN self-propelled headlines the sale

This year, for the first time, an exciting machine takes pride of place in the catalogue of KEENAN pre-used machines — a 2019 model of the award-winning KEENAN self-propelled, MechFiber345.

“This demo model has very low hours on the clock, having only been used for KEENAN on-farm demonstrations to show the speed, precision and versatility of the model.”

More information

Interested farmers are encouraged to request a catalogue either via the KEENAN website or by phone.

A number of strictly pre-arranged appointments which will respect social distancing guidelines will be made available to people who would rather call to the factory and deal in person.

If any farmer would like more detailed technical information or has questions about a specific model within the catalogue, they can converse with a service engineer in confidence.

All KEENAN approved-used machines are compatible with the InTouch nutritional support system and come with a 3–month warranty.
