Trade remained steady for all types of cattle at Tuam Mart on Monday (May 20th), according to Marion Devane – Manager.
Bullocks made up to €785 over the kg
- LMX - 515kg - €1,300;
- LMX - 640kg - €1,340;
- LM - 420kg - €1,080.
Heifers climbed to €885 with the weight
- CHX – 505kg - €1,390;
- PTX – 525KG - €1,280.
Cull cows topped out at €1440
- CHX - 690kg - €1440;
- CHX - 680kg - €1360;
- SIX - 660kg - €1200;
- AAX - 640kg - €1090.
On Tuesday, lambs climbed to €80.50 with the weight, while old Ewes topped out at €100 each.
- 57.5Kg - €138 - €2.40/kg;
- 45.6Kg - €112 - €2.45 p/kg.
- Monday (June 3rd) (Bank Holiday) - Cattle to be penned by 9.30 a.m. for viewing at 10 a.m;
- Monday, June 10th - Mart closed for essential maintenance work.
