Tuam Mart held its Show and Sale of Belgian Blue Weanlings, with a top call of €1,070 recorded.
The first and second prize for the Best Belgian Blue Weanling Bull went to Michael Roche, Carrowmoneen, Tuam.
First-prize winner - 335kg sold at €1000, while the second prize-winner - 350kg went under the hammer at €1,050.
Moving to the heifer weanlings, Patrick Feeney, Gorthnadubha, Claregalway scooped the red ribbons with his entry - 335kg - €1,070, while John Charles, Woodfield, Dunmore acquired second place with his animal - 230kg - €860.
In other categories, bullocks hit €840 over the kg - a LMX - 710kg - €1,550 (€2.18/kg), while heifers climbed to €680 over - a BBX - 600kg - €1,280 (€2.13/kg) and cull cows peaked at €1,470.
On Tuesday, Lambs made up to €75 with their weight, according to Marian Devane.
Old Ewes topped out at €100/head, while ewe hoggets pushed up to €172 and breeding ewes jumped to €135.
