Spring lambs reach €134/head at Blessington

Trade remained largely unchanged in Blessington Mart’s sheep sale on Tuesday (May 19^th), according to a mart spokesperson.

Trade for fat ewes was “a little easier” but prices for other classes remained the same.

Prices:

• Spring lambs – €118-€134/head or €80-€90 over;
• Fat hoggets – €118-€130/head or €70-€82 over;
• Fat ewes – €120-€130/head;
• Store ewes – €60-€115/head;
• Ewes with lambs at foot – €140-€230/head.
