There was a 94% clearance recorded at Elphin Mart’s show and sale on Wednesday, February 5th, according to Gerry Connellan.
- Heifers 300-400 kg – the average price achieved was €955 with a maximum price of €1,160 for a 390 kg Limousin;
- Heifers 400-500 kg – the average price achieved was €1,135 with a maximum price of €1,560 for a 500 kg Charolais;
- Heifers > 500 kg – the average price achieved was €1,385 with a maximum price of €2,280 for 635 kg Belgian Blue, a prize-winner.
