‘Good’ entry of store-type culls at Ennis

There was a good entry of store type cows in Ennis Mart on Thursday (May 7th), according to a mart spokesperson.

The spokesperson reported that there was a good trade on the day. the sale was made up of mostly continental type cows that made up to €1.95/kg. Friesian cull cows earned between €1.12 and €1.31/kg, while aged bulls made between €1,140 and €1,540.

Cull cows:

  • LM 550kgs – €1,050 – €1.91/kg;
  • LM 690kgs – €1,300 – €1.88/kg;   
  • CH 555kgs – €1,030 – €1.85/kg;
  • CH 655kgs – €1,275 – €1.94/kg;
  • LM 565kgs – €950 – €1.68/kg;
  • 2 FR 697kgs – €920 – €1.31/kg;
  • AAX 555kgs – €950 – €1.71/kg;
  • 3 FR 640kgs – €791 – €1.23/kg;
  • FR 520kgs – €682 – €1.31/kg;
  • FR 575kgs – €631 – €1.09/kg.
