Trade remained strong for all classes of stock presented for sale at Castlerea Mart on Thursday (August 13tH), according to Brendan Egan.
The mart manager pointed out that the number of stock passing through the ring continues to grow week-on-week.
“The bullock trade remained very lively with demand for the quality stores very strong as farmers and feedlots competed for stock as well as agents.”
“The heifer and dry cow trade reported good clearances. The weanling numbers continue to grow with demand increasing also, while the runners reported an excellent trade this week as farmers continue to source stock.” Egan added.
