Farmer customers active at Blessington

There was a complete clearance at Blessington Mart’s cattle sale on Thursday (May 7^th), according to mart spokesperson.

The spokesperson reported that the sale was of a similar size and similar trade as in previous weeks, with a lot of farmer customers actively looking for stock.

Prices:

• Beef bullocks +600kg – €550-€715 over;
• Forward store bullocks +500kg – €450-€660 over;
• Store bullocks +400kg – €420-€570 over;
• Store bullocks +300kg – €400-€535 over;
• Beef heifers +500kg – €550-€705 over;
• Store heifers +400kg – €420-€560 over.
