Bullocks went under the hammer from €2.12-€2.88/kg, while heifers climbed from €2.17-€2.80/kg and cows ranged from €600-€1,540 at Ballinasloe Mart on Wednesday (August 19th).
A mart spokesperson reported a “good trade and clearance” at the general cattle sale.
Bullocks:
- 1 SI – 745kg – €1,705;
- 1 LM – 745kg – €1,680;
- 1 LM – 745kg – €1,680;
- 1 LM – 805kg – €1,660;
- 1 CH – 310kg – €900;
- 1 CH – 330kg – €905;
- 1 CH – 335kg – €900.
Heifers:
- 1 LM – 590kg – €1,500;
- 1 LM – 585kg – €1,350;
- 1 CH – 605kg – €1,270;
- 1 CH – 320kg – €900;
- 1 CH – 340kg – €900;
- 1 LM – 365kg – €950.
