Over 800 lots turned out for Ennis Mart’s cattle sale on Thursday (March 19th), according to a spokesperson.
They noted that bullocks met with an improved trade, while heifers were similar to the previous week. “Cull cows [were] easier in line with the pull in beef quotes for cull cows at the factory.”
“The improvement in the weather meant that there were men anxious for stock.”
“The sale was held with further restrictions in place today and passed off fine and customers at all sides must be thanked for their co-operation.” the spokesperson concluded.
