Bullocks 300kg to 400kg made up to €700 with the weight and averaged €2.23/kg - a CHX – 390kg - €1,080 - €2.77/kg.
Entries 400kg-500kg averaged €2.22/kg - a LMX - 415kg - €1370 - €3.30/kg.
Heavier-types weighing 500kg plus averaged €2.13/kg - a LMX - 645kg €1,500.00 - €855 over the kg.
Heifers up to 400 kg averaged €2.51/kg at Saturday’s sale – a BBX - 380kg- €1270 or €3.34/kg.
Entries weighing 400kg to 500kg averaged €2.29/kg – a SAX - 485kg - €1,600 - €3.30/kg.
Heifers 500kg averaged €2.22/kg - a CHX - 750kg - €1,750.00 or €2.33/kg.
Cull cows and suckler pairings
A top call of €1,700 was recorded in the cull cow ring for an August-2011-born LMX weighing 880kg; a March-2017-born LMX cow with her LMX heifer calf at foot topped out at €2,010.
