Not since Farmville took Facebook by storm has another farming related computer game developed quite an interest, bar the Farming simulator game - see here.
But now there is a new game in 'town' which seems to be the new dominant force in agri-computer games, Farm Together. The game was developed by Milkstone Studios, the company behind the Avatar farm game, and is capable of housing up to 16 players!
The Game -
A very similar concept to Farmville (which you can reminisce about here) with Farm Together you start off your agricultural enterprise with a small plot of land.
The aim of the game is to grow and expand your enterprise as much as possible, growing crops, tending to animals and upgrading facilities and buildings along the way. Experience points earned from carrying out tasks enables users to unlock hundreds of farm items!
Players can also sell any produce they generate on their farm, such as crops, which will help them make money to make improvements. Like FarmVille, crops will grow even once you have logged off.
For the machinery fanatics, you can also climb aboard the farm’s tractor to help carry out tasks quicker! Users can customize almost every aspect of the game, such as characters, animals, buildings etc and can even decorate the farmhouse to their individual taste!
As mentioned, each ‘farm’ can house up to 16 players at once and users can even make their farm fully public, allowing everyone and anyone to join in on the fun!
The game was available on Pre-Order on the Xbox One on January 19th 2019, after being initially released on the PC last year. It was also released on Nintendo Switch February 1st.
