You have all no doubt seen the episode well over twenty times, if not more, and no doubt on more than one occasion you were found to be belting out the classic hit. Two county Tyrone natives have decided to make their own version of the hilarious video, and it's giving the original a run for it’s money!
The two men, Paddy Phillips and anthony Marley, hail from the Carrickmore town of County Tyrone. They decided to recreate the breathtakingly funny video from the cult classic Father Ted for an upcoming fundraiser in the parish, as reported by Joe.ie.
The Fundraiser is to be held in October and by the looks of it there will be quite a few fans lining up to attend. The video was made to promote the local show, which is called the ‘Father Ted and the Holy Ghost Stage Show’. The show is due to take place in the town this coming October, with the very fitting aim to raise money for the local parish hall development fund.
Not much differs from the two videos, bar maybe the jacket colour and the faces of the talent involved. But that is definitely made up for with hilarious acting and dancing of the two friends. The video includes the white horse, volleyball escapades and even the feeding of sugar lumps to the horse.
Take a look at their version of the Father Ted classic in the above video. It’s guaranteed to bring more than a smile to your face! If this video is anything to go by, the crows are certain to gather in Carrickmore in October.
