This one's definitely not to be missed. For our third installment of the Machinery Monday’s series, we look at Major’s large slurry tankers.
We hear from Mayo dairy farmer, Michael Canny, who needed a larger tanker as he was using a Zerograzer system. He cited the chassis as a major factor in his decision, he said it is simply “better designed”.
The tanks can be galvanised, with big wheels and Major helped Michael find exactly what he needed. It was identified that he needed air brakes and steering axle, due to the roads he traveled on. Michael says the air brakes are a “peace of mind” and says you can stop easily, even with a full tanker.
The Major team also identified that Michael might need an auto-fill, as he spent excessive hours filling the tanks. Although hesitant at first, Michael now admits he would struggle to work without it.
“After using it now...it’s fantastic!”, said Michael.
Michael lists a full range of recommendations and describes his purchase as a “safe investment for the future”.
Liked what you saw? Don’t worry, next week we have more machinery coming your way!
